Five Social Media Mistakes To Avoid

By now, most people know the general rule of thumb when it comes to navigating the social media world: don't do anything you wouldn't want your employer or your family to see. Unfortunately, it doesn't really end there.

In a recent article published by Gizmodo, Kelly Clay gives us a list of five things employees should avoid doing when it comes to social media. Whether it's checking in on Foursquare every time you hit a new spot, clicking potentially spam-filled links on Twitter or Instagramming all of your weekend shenanigans for the world to see, the message is clear: if you want to maintain somewhat of a professional persona, you should stop doing these things.
