IP Pool To Get Larger

We all love our internet-connected devices, and as long as each being on this planet continues to have multiple devices, our demand will increase.

My only regret is that this is happening in 2012 and not during a year that more easily lends itself to a sweet acronym like the previous worldwide computer crisis, Y2K.

But similar to that of Y2k, the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 does require tech companies that rely on servers to take this issue seriously and upgrade their equipment, software and networks to be compatible with the new standard.

If all goes well, the average consumer on the street will not know the difference.
