New York City Hospitality Alliance Contracts AYC Media

New York City is home to some of the world's best web design agencies; no matter the size or significance of their respective portfolios, each are vying for business from the thousands of companies that make the city tick. Despite our difference in geography, the AYC team has remained a key player in the rate race that is the Manhattan design world throughout the past decade, building websites and conceptualizing branding for a wide range of high profile clients in the city. When we were contracted to develop a web presence for the newly formed New York City Hospitality Alliance in August of this year, it felt like the next natural step was right on time.

Given a hard deadline of only three weeks (an occupational hazard having to do with the group's pre-planned launch party), the AYC creative team quickly developed a plan for a functioning website, equipped with cohesive branding elements, a customized CMS and an online membership solution. Though phase one of development flew by in what felt like warp speed, we completed the site and and its essential elements right on time. As the Alliance continues to grow, the website will incorporate additional pages, more expansive features and a host of other items that will help foster the growth of the Alliance.

Founded in 2012, the NYC Hospitality Alliance is comprised of restaurants, bars, lounges, destination hotels and major industry suppliers--each of which play a key role in the city's burgeoning hospitality sector. Led by Executive Director Andrew Rigie  (former executive vice president of the New York State Restaurant Association’s New York City chapter), the well-cultivated list of founding members include big names such as Stephen Hanson (BR Guest Hospitality), Eugene Remm (EMM Group), Anheuser-Busch/InBev and Mitch Banchik (NYC Best Bars). With job creation, opportunity and economic investment at the forefront of their structure, the Alliance is the first association to represent all facets of the industry in all five boroughs of NYC.
