Darien Social Website
Based in the small Connecticut town of its namesake, Darien Social is an American bar and restaurant that serves classic comfort food in a rustic, upscale setting. To set the stage for their newly established brand, the client asked us to incorporate the look and feel of a newspaper, speaking to the refined taste and style of its community. By fusing together wood design touches, brick oven imagery and logos reminiscent of the extensive craft beer collection, we created a website that closely mimics the restaurant's appearance. Functionality was also a key focus for Darien, requiring mobile-friendly slideshows, a custom-built content management system, a rotating announcement and press coverage area, a daily event calendar and a fully integrated social media portfolio.
