Poggio Anima is a joint venture between Montalcino superstar Riccardo Campinoti of Le Ragnaie and his importer, Vine Street Imports. The company's mission is simple: to source the best vineyards from existing relationships and produce an exquisite wines that convey a specifc place and grape. These wines are not bulk wines, nor leftover juice from a winery, but specialty blends sourced from only the most reputable growers.
Poggio Anima translates to ‘Hill of Soul.’ To illustrate that concept, we wanted to capture the ‘soul’ of each vineyard and grape. No manipulation, no water, sugar, etc.–ust the pure expression of the fruit. I would argue that many wines have a ‘soul,’ but very few "weeknight wines" share this quality.
Poggio's robust Content Management System (CMS) allows them full access to update almost every part of its website. With the ability to change or add new products, photos and associated alt-tags and types, Poggio can aggregate and feature new collections based on its product schedule. Its improved online presence and upgraded CMS allows for an intuitive and powerful marketing platform that will help them compete well into the future.
