Each floor of Social Bar & Lounge, a Hell’s Kitchen bar, grill & lounge, is different. Our team utilized this aspect of the restaurant as a jumping off point for the design. One floor is all dark wood while another has a more modern, bright feel. We found the median between one extreme and the other.
Like Social Bar & Lounge itself, the site melds together aspects of modern and vintage design in a way that has a distinct New York heritage. We created a responsive website that capitalizes on the imagery and shows off the space.
We also designed a new logo and menus for Social Bar & Lounge. The typefaces used also speak to unique look of the restaurant. A mix of different fonts were used that come together to convey a similar character. Modern classic patterns such as half tone and angular arrangements on the menu are also juxtaposed with the vintage typefaces.
