When The Windrift hotel in Avalon, NJ came to us to do a full site redesign, we were tasked with promoting numerous room types, multiple dining experiences and upscale amenities associated with its beachfront location. We did a complete overhaul of the site that included a clean, responsive design, reorganization of structure into an intuitive format and a full e-commerce package.
We worked through the site’s information attempting to understand the user’s standpoint and bring the most pertinent information to the forefront. We landed on a structure that focuses on three main pieces – rooms, dining and events – offering ease of use for site visitors while highlighting the hotel’s selling points.
The fresh structure also translated to a bold, simplified design that evokes The Windrift’s beachfront location. We paired colors from the hotel’s current logo with crisp oceanic imagery. The organized and clean look is also reflected in updated menu designs.
