As 2014 quickly winds down and our hearts and minds are already planning well into 2015, I wanted to take a brief moment to say "Thank you" to all those that made this an especially momentous year for AYC Media.
To our clients: Thank you. We wouldn’t have been able to continue our growth without your loyal support. Projects are bigger, ideas are greater, and the challenges presented to our team push us to new heights every day. We thank you for choosing AYC Media to help drive your business and we will continue to provide solutions to to keep your digital presence at the forefront in 2015 and beyond.
To our partners: AYC Media would not be able to meet the growing demands on our team without the strategic partnerships we have put in place. From VOIP phone systems and server infrastructure to dedicated cloud hosting and data storage, thank you to all those that allow our programmers to code, our designers to dream, our developers to create and allow our team to focus on what they do best.
It isn't about the... the gifts or the contest or the fancy lights: Yes, we do pride ourselves on pushing the envelope with design and functionality to provide the very best in aesthetics and UI/UX; however technology doesn’t build websites, people do. Without our dedicated staff, none of what we have and continue to accomplish would be possible.
To everyone behind the scenes and also to those on stage, thank you for the long hours, patience with process changes, and dedication to making sure that everything we build is something we are all proud of. The challenges we face everyday would not be as fun or rewarding to overcome without the hard work and dedication that each and every one of you brings to work every day. The passion and comradery that tie us all together make it a pleasure to call AYC home. To all of our team - Thank you for the excellent job!
Giving back: In addition to ongoing contributions ranging from volunteering at homeless shelters to donating websites to good causes, every time this year AYC Media and its employees choose a family that can use a little extra support during the holidays.
This year, we picked a family through Bringing Hope Home that is struggling more than most of us will ever truly understand. The families only current source of income was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and meeting basic needs (food, clothing, etc) has become a struggle. Their list of christmas “wants” didn’t include TV’s or iPads. Instead, they requested gift cards to the local grocery and clothing stores. We all chipped in and were hopefully able to provide the family with some needed aid that will help them get back on solid ground in 2015.
All work and no play is no fun at all: To celebrate this tremendous year, AYC Media recently held it’s 15th holiday party at one of our client’s, North Bowl, in Philly. Once again, they did not disappoint! Great food, drinks and entertainment for all. Below are some of the highlights of the evening, including our traditional “white elephant” gift exchange.
Dr. Dre? Most "stolen" gift? No way!
