What are you looking forward to the most about joining the team here at AYC?

Finally getting back into the creative field. Other jobs just have not compared to the enjoyable insanity that comes with it.

What were you doing before you joined the team?

Like everyone else in the Philly area, I was at a “healthcare” company. Specifically doing sales and customer relations.

Have any interesting hobbies?

I still buy and build Legos. I’m pretty good at Super Smash Bro’s on N64. I know a decent bit about Lord of the Rings. I like skiing more than pretty much everything. I’m also immensely appreciative of the ‘craft-beer’ trend.

What’s your go-to music when you’re working?

When I’m working I tend to lean towards rap and beat driven music (Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, MF Doom, Nujabes, Cannibal Ox, Run the Jewels). Or you’ll catch me listening to something heavier (Norma Jean, Architects, Bring me the Horizon, Underoath, The Fall of Troy). Titus Andronicus is pretty cool too… I like pretty much everything but country.

Want to share with us a project you have worked on in the past that you are most proud of?

This is probably the project I’m the most proud of (http://edb3.com/2014/07/23/frankenstein/) Yes, I know my website is terrible.

Have you seen any industry trends recently that inspired you?

I’ve seen a lot of ‘gif’ illustrations for online articles which is something I’ve been playing with when I have free time. Also simplicity in branding.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

“Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and loo”…I actually hate that quote. The best advice I ever got was essentially “Progress, not perfection.”
